Thankful for Forgiveness

"Some of the worst mistakes of my life have been haircuts." -Jim Morrison

We all can relate to this quote. Mistakes happen. Even worse, people have purposely done bad things to us and we have sinned against others too. When we forgive them (even for a bad haircut) we are released from all sorts of bitterness and anger. I give thanks to God, for the One who on the cross gave us an example of what it is like to forgive, on this twenty-fourth day of November - the month of Thanksgiving!

  1. Forgiveness...what a powerful, precious, needful word. I had to laugh at the haircut, as I think all of children when they were young found a pair of scissors and did a little hair cutting of their own. With Myk..I could just give him a butch...the girls..a different story.

Yes, I will join you today in giving thanks for FORGIVENESS.

    1. Thanks Wanda! Your comments reminded me of my son's John John (as in Kennedy) haircut when he was very young. Those were the days!

  2. We never want to get to old or too busy to remember "those days." Our oldest daughter is in her 50's and the two of the others pushing it! Where did the time go.
