We must have the Holy Spirit living in us to be a christian. And the Holy Spirit brings the truth of Gods Word alive to us.lisakidofthekinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04143541018412711575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9665353.post-30250250507040967792009-12-06T02:18:44.487-06:002009-12-06T02:18:44.487-06:00...or sitting in MacDonald's makes you a hambu......or sitting in MacDonald's makes you a hamburger lolduopastoralehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05629791757005585762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9665353.post-29115201469565205762009-12-05T19:07:05.898-06:002009-12-05T19:07:05.898-06:00Thanks Susan and Sue for the comments. I do agree that many believe they are Christian even if they go to church but do not hold the tenets of the church.

Always helpful for me to remember that I will never be a Maserati.. no matter how long I sit in the garage :)kc bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17440862813109808755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9665353.post-75441451867852923852009-12-05T18:59:35.806-06:002009-12-05T18:59:35.806-06:00Hi Bob - I agree with you absolutely - your ditch ...Hi Bob - I agree with you absolutely - your ditch analogy is "spot on".

I don't find it surprising when non-Christians aren't clear on what we believe, but I find it distressing when Christians are so fuzzy in their thinking that they believe that one is Christian if one believes in peace and love and one (non-triune) God.NCSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17617227847364562989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9665353.post-61782446759726823872009-12-05T16:49:00.927-06:002009-12-05T16:49:00.927-06:00I went to Sue's post to see what this was abou...I went to Sue's post to see what this was about. As I commented to her, I definitely fall on the side of if you believe in Christ you are a Christian, if you do not, you are not. Even if you go to a "Christian Church" and you personally do not believe in Christ and his finished work on the cross you are NOT a Christian. It has nothing to do with church attendance.
SusanSusanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11360047123820906113noreply@blogger.com
